“Communicating the Unesco site and the museums of the territory: visual identity and online presence”, is a project of the Municipality of Caserta aimed at enhancing the historical, cultural and immaterial heritage of the Borbone era. It is financed under the provisions of Law n.77 of 20 February 2008, “Special measures for the protection and use of Italian sites of cultural, landscape and environmental interest, included in the” list of World Heritage “, placed under the protection of UNESCO” .
The project includes, from April to June, a school-work interchange program, involving the San Leucio Art School, the Buonarroti Technical Institute and the disabled children of the Federico Ozanam social cooperative. The didactic phase consists of two laboratories, one of ceramics, the other artistic tailoring.
The second phase, which will begin in September, will be aimed at the general public, and includes a rich program of events, with theatrical performances, animations and music concerts at the Belvedere of San Leucio, the Reggia (the Royal Palace of Caserta and the “Ponti della Valle di Maddaloni” (Bridges of the Maddaloni Valley). The involvement of the “Terra di Lavoro” museum system structures (Museum of Contemporary Art and Michelangelo Museum in Caserta, Maddaloni Civic Museum, Park of the historical memory of San Pietro Infine and Civic Museum “Raffaele Marrocco” of Piedimonte Matese) is expected. In addition, buffets will be created inspired by the recipes of the cultured and popular tradition of the 1700s and 1800s kitchen of the Kingdom of Naples.
